About Us

The City Technical University (CTU) is a new university being established in a strategic location of Juba, the capital city of South Sudan. It aims to transform higher education sector by providing unique programs that address the country’s socioeconomic needs through higher education and research.

We will achieve this by prioritizing laboratory-based and experiential learning, focusing on engineering and the natural sciences for 70% of our students, while also incorporating the arts, humanities, and social sciences for the remaining 30%.

CTU is committed to developing graduates who are visionaries, ready to drive innovation and inspire change in South Sudan and beyond.

The mission of CTU is to support industrialization and digitalisation of the economy, enhancement of natural and human environments, and improvement in quality of life through education, research excellence, innovation, and service to community.
